Consider investing in a Green Franchise!

As you are thinking about making an investment in a new franchise business, have you thought about a franchise that sells a “green” product or service – in other words, one that benefits or doesn’t hurt the environment?

  • According to a recent Cone Green Gap Trend Tracker (2012) 69% of American consumers always or sometimes take the environment into consideration when making choices about what products or services to buy.
  • Globally, a report from 2014 says that 55% of consumers across 60 countries are willing to pay higher prices for goods from environmentally conscious companies.
  • According to a Nielsen Global Survey in 2015 with 30,000 Millennials, 66% of global respondents say they’re willing to pay more for products and services that come from companies that are committed to positive social and environmental impact, up from 55% in 2014, and 50% in 2013.

More people are making their homes energy efficient, driving more fuel efficient cars, focusing more on recycling, and buying products that are healthier and less harmful to society and the environment. Such a rapid expansion in green-conscious customers has spurred a surge of companies making green claims, including franchise companies.

One industry that is booming in the Green space is the Solar industry.
